Franciscan Poor Clare Sisters of Duncan

Becoming a Poor Clare is a pilgrimage – a pilgrimage into the Heart of Christ. Our guide is St. Clare of Assisi who teaches us the pathway of prayer that can lead us into deep intimacy with Christ. She invites us to be co-workers with Christ in revealing the depths of God’s overwhelming love for humanity.

It is a way of challenge and surprise. As a candidate who joins our community you will be invited to go beyond where you are at present and be called to grow and blossom in new areas of learning and growth. Through interacting with other women who desire to know and develop in God’s love, you will find many opportunities through community living for authentic unfolding in love of God and of others. You will discover gifts you did not know you had.
